Current political, economic and ecological guidelines demand the increase of power densities of nearly all machinery parts. In order to further lower the wear rate towards the ultra-mild sliding wear regime, an integral approach is needed, which has to regard contact conditions, surface topography, surface chemistry, as well as sub-surface properties. Still, there are no simple parameters to classify the performance of a tribosystem. In this study the area affected by tribocontacts is calculated by means of a three dimensional elastic–ideal plastic contact model. The surfaces are prepared by means of conventional machining procedures and characterized by scanning white light interferometry. The further input data as to normal and friction forces are derived by reciprocating sliding wear tests under boundary lubrication conditions of carburized steel against carburized steel and 52100 steel against case-hardened spheroidal cast iron. This contribution will depict the distinct influence of the topography on friction and ultra-mild sliding wear of common Fe-base materials and point out the marked importance of highly localized effects, which govern the acting mechanisms.  相似文献

中低品位磷矿高效清洁综合利用是中国基础磷化工产业发展中遇到的共性瓶颈问题。以中低品位磷矿磷-钙-镁一体化综合利用中试成果为基础,通过创新集成技术对中低品位磷矿直接进行处理,获得高品质磷精矿[w(P2O5)≥36%、w(MgO)≤0.5%]可用于任何湿法磷酸及热法黄磷生产工艺,同时回收高附加值的氢氧化镁和轻质碳酸钙。该工艺磷全部回收、无尾矿产生、实现了废水近零排放,项目的实施对推动中国磷化工产业可持续发展及从源头解决“三磷”问题具有重要意义。  相似文献

Biocomposite cylinders containing biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP), collagen (CS), and an extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra (GG) were prepared and characterized for their physicochemical properties. Incorporation of BCP and GG enhanced the mechanical properties of the CS. The biomimetic mineralization capacity of CS–BCP–GG biocomposite cylinders was evaluated in a simulated body fluid solution. CS–BCP–GG biocomposite cylinders show over 80% viability in NIH-3T3 and SaOS-2 cell lines, compared to CS and CS–BCP. In vivo studies were performed using zebrafish embryos to find out the toxicity level of CS isolated from chrome shavings.  相似文献

Use of limonitic laterite as an iron source in conventional ironmaking is restricted due to its gangue composition and small particle size. Even direct reduction cannot effectively produce direct reduced iron (DRI) because NiO would be reduced together with iron oxide to form Fe–Ni. A small amount of Ni (about 2 wt.%) in DRI degrades the physical properties of final steel products. The current study investigated how oxidation roasting of limonitic laterite ores affected NiO reduction, with the goal of producing Ni-free DRI and Ni-bearing slag. Ni-bearing slag can be a good secondary Ni resource. Oxidation roasting made NiO inert under H2 reduction at 900 °C by forming Ni-olivine. Optimum roasting temperature was proposed by examining phase transformation of limonitic laterite ores during heating and by FactSage calculation of the equilibrium Ni fraction in Ni-bearing phases. Furthermore, the effect of Mg–silicate forming additives on the control of NiO reducibility was clarified to maximize the suppression of NiO reduction. Among various additives such as MgSiO3, Mg2SiO4 and Fe–Ni smelting slag, Ni-free olivine-typed flux was found to be the most effective form of Ni-olivine because Ni–Mg ion exchange between Ni-bearing phase and Ni-free olivine occurs more readily than other Ni-olivine formation schemes. Finally, the mechanism of Ni-olivine formation during roasting was studied using a diffusion couple test. Calculated diffusivity values of Ni in Mg2SiO4 indicated that the two major routes of Ni-olivine formation while roasting limonitic laterite ore are (1) Ni partitioning within Mg–Ni silicate before crystallization and (2) Ni diffusion from spinel to Ni free olivine after crystallization.  相似文献

Increasing use of iron oxide nanoparticles in medicine and environmental remediation has led to concerns regarding exposure of these nanoparticles to the public. However, limited studies are available to evaluate their effects on the environment, in particular on plants and food crops. Here, we investigated the effects of positive (PC) and negative (NC) charged iron oxide (Fe2O3) nanoparticles (IONPs) on the physiology and reproductive capacity of Arabidopsis thaliana at concentrations of 3 and 25 mg/L. The 3 mg/L treated plants did not show evident effects on seeding and root length. However, the 25 mg/L treatment resulted in reduced seedling (positive-20% and negative-3.6%) and root (positive-48% and negative-negligible) length. Interestingly, treatment with polyethylenimine (PEI; IONP-PC coating) also resulted in reduced root length (39%) but no change was observed with polyacrylic acid (PAA; IONP-NC coating) treatment alone. However, treatment with IONPs at 3 mg/L did lead to an almost 5% increase in aborted pollen, a 2%–6% reduction in pollen viability and up to an 11% reduction in seed yield depending on the number of treatments. Interestingly, the treated plants did not show any observable phenotypic changes in overall size or general plant structure, indicating that environmental nanoparticle contamination could go dangerously unnoticed.  相似文献

In recent years, there has been an increased interest in the design and use of iron oxide materials with nanoscale dimensions for magnetic, catalytic, biomedical, and electronic applications. The increased manufacture and use of iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) in consumer products as well as industrial processes is expected to lead to the unintentional release of IONPs into the environment. The impact of IONPs on the environment and on biological species is not well understood but remains a concern due to the increased chemical reactivity of nanoparticles relative to their bulk counterparts. This review article describes the impact of IONPs on cellular genetic components. The mutagenic impact of IONPs may damage an organism’s ability to develop or reproduce. To date, there has been experimental evidence of IONPs having mutagenic interactions on human cell lines including lymphoblastoids, fibroblasts, microvascular endothelial cells, bone marrow cells, lung epithelial cells, alveolar type II like epithelial cells, bronchial fibroblasts, skin epithelial cells, hepatocytes, cerebral endothelial cells, fibrosarcoma cells, breast carcinoma cells, lung carcinoma cells, and cervix carcinoma cells. Other cell lines including the Chinese hamster ovary cells, mouse fibroblast cells, murine fibroblast cells, Mytilus galloprovincialis sperm cells, mice lung cells, murine alveolar macrophages, mice hepatic and renal tissue cells, and vero cells have also shown mutagenic effects upon exposure to IONPs. We further show the influence of IONPs on microorganisms in the presence and absence of dissolved organic carbon. The results shed light on the transformations IONPs undergo in the environment and the nature of the potential mutagenic impact on biological cells.  相似文献

Because of the improved performance of power devices, the volume of the ac filter inductors used in high‐frequency PWM inverters has been reduced. However, the temperature rise in the filter inductor due to this miniaturization has become more pronounced. Therefore, we have proposed an iron loss calculation method for the ac filter inductor. However, the accuracy of the value calculated via the loss map method cannot be verified, because the iron loss arising during each switching period cannot be measured with conventional power measuring instruments. In order to resolve this problem, we developed an inductor loss analyzer (ILA), which allows precise measurement of the iron loss in the inductor during each switching period. The accuracy of the calculation of iron loss in the filter inductor by the loss map method was verified with the ILA. We found that the value calculated by the loss map method differed slightly from the value measured with the ILA. However, these differences can be reduced if we take into account the accurate flux density calculation and the effect of the duty ratio of PWM pulses on the loss. Finally, we verified that the loss map method can provide accurate iron loss calculations.  相似文献

Electrospinning (ES) is a most reliable method for synthesizing one dimensional (1D) fibrous material. Fibrous materials are having peculiar interest owing to their fascinating properties. For efficient hydrogen fuel generation, electrocatalytic water splitting is one of the finest way of producing hydrogen in a pure form. But it is encountered by the counter oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in more often. As of now, noble metal based catalysts are utilized in the commercial sector. Some of the disadvantages associated with the noble materials are restrict their usage commercially. To address this issue, herein, we have synthesized One dimensional (1D), hydrated porous cobalt phosphate fibrous network by an ES method and act as an electrocatalyst for OER in both alkaline and neutral media for the first time, which exhibits an overpotential of 245 and 457 mV respectively at a current density of 10 mAcm?2 with astonishing stability.  相似文献

In the present work, effect of Mn doping on hydrolysis rate of low-temperature synthesized metastable α-tricalcium phosphate (α-TCP) was investigated. α-TCP powders containing different amount of Mn2+ ions (0, 0.5 and 1 mol%) were synthesized by wet co-precipitation process, followed by annealing and crystallization of as-precipitated amorphous calcium phosphate at 700 °C. It was demonstrated that the presence of Mn2+ ions significantly retards hydrolysis rate of α-TCP. While pristine α-TCP fully hydrolyzed with a conversion to calcium-deficient hydroxyapatite in 10 h, complete hydrolysis of α-TCP doped with 0.5 and 1 mol% of Mn occurred only after 20 and 35 h, respectively. Initial and final products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Chemical composition of starting and fully hydrolyzed α-TCP powders was determined by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).  相似文献
